The Investigator/Auditor Resource Committee is now accepting submissions for the 2014 ARELLO® Investigator of the Year Award! Entries submitted by June 6, 2014 will be reviewed by the awards subcommittee, which will select one auditor or investigator who is currently serving an ARELLO® member jurisdiction, according to the following criteria: Audit/Investigative Techniques, Innovation, Use of Resources, Jurisdictional Violations Discovered, Complexity of Case, Documentation of Evidence, Interview Skills, Creativity, and Report Writing Skills.
The Committee also notes that, for the first time, submissions will be handled electronically and should be emailed with attachments to Investigatoraward@arello.org. Submitted documentation cannot exceed 20MB.
Required submission documentation includes:
A copy of the investigative report or other narrative;
A supervisor's letter approving the submission and listing why the investigation is significant and should be selected;
A copy of the order or final disposition of the case; and
Any exhibits that are necessary to show or document the award criteria that will be used to evaluate the submission.
Please Note: If any submitted material is confidential and only to be reviewed by the subcommittee, please mark the material "Confidential".
Remember: The submission deadline is June 6th, 2014!
