Economic Forecast for Housing—Dr. Lawrence Yun
Dr. Lawrence Yun is a Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research at the National Association of Realtors. He oversees the production of existing home sales statistics and the popular Home Buyer and Home Seller survey reports. He regularly appears on CNBC, BBC, Bloomberg Television, and is often quoted in the media.
Yun has been with NAR since 2000. Prior to that, he worked as an economic consultant to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Education. While a research associate at the University of Maryland from 1995 to 1998 with the funding from the United States Agency for International Development, Yun helped develop a graduate economics curriculum and lectured at several universities in the former Soviet Union as that country transitioned from communism to a market-based economy.
Dr. Yun's presentation will cover:

- Forecast the direction of home prices, housing market trends and overall economy in the next 12 – 24 months

That rate results from a negotiated overall package of event needs such as sleeping rooms, meeting room space and other requirements. ARELLO will incur costs if the association falls short of its minimum room block guarantee. Please help ARELLO keep the costs of this event as low as possible by booking your housing needs at the designated host hotel and in the ARELLO room block. Reserving outside the contracted room block may jeopardize ARELLO's ability to meet its contracted obligations and to keep registration fees to a minimum.
