3:30–4:30 pm Chuck Cohen: Online Open Source Tools and Techniques: What Real Estate Investigators Need to Know

Chuck Cohen is a Vice President at the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). He is a Professor of Practice in the Indiana University Bloomington Department of Criminal Justice, where he has taught since 2003. Chuck serves as an Auxiliary Detective with the Indiana University Police Department, providing technical assistance and giving him statewide police authority.

This presentation will discuss the rapidly evolving ecosystem of online social media and how people are changing how they choose to communicate. It will then detail and demonstrate free and inexpensive cyber-OSINT tools that real estate investigators and analysts can use to start build a cyber-OSINT toolbox.

Eric White is a 20-year veteran of the Criminal Investigative Division of the IRS and now a Senior Financial Investigator with the FBI.
